Cookie Policy

1.What are cookies

The cookie is a small text file containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and your terminal (usually the browser) and is normally used by the website manager to store the information necessary to improve navigation within the site or to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of surfing the net. When you visit the same site again or any other site, the user's device checks for the presence of a recognized cookie, in order to be able to read the information contained therein. The different cookies contain different information and are used for different purposes (efficient navigation on the pages of the same site, profiling in order to send targeted promotional messages, analysis on the number of visits to the site, but also the cross-analysis of the behaviors held through the use of different devices in the context of navigation).

During navigation, the user can also receive on his terminal cookies sent from different websites or web servers (so-called third parties), on which some elements may reside (e.g. images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of others domains) present on the site that the user is visiting.

More generally, some cookies (called session cookies) are assigned to the user's device only for the duration of access to the site and automatically expire when the browser is closed. Other cookies (defined as persistent) remain on the device for an extended period of time.

However, it is important to underline that in order to regularly provide its online services, the Site Controller needs to use technical cookies. Therefore, if the use of the aforementioned cookies is disabled, for purely technical reasons, the Data Controller will be unable to provide all or some services or to provide them in the manner requested. The specific purposes of the different types of cookies installed on this site are described below.

2.Characteristics and purposes of the cookies installed by the site

2.1 Technical cookies (do not require consent):

These are cookies used specifically to allow the proper functioning and use of our sites. Technical cookies are used, for example, for the user's login functionality. They are mainly provided by the Controller’s servers or, in the case of the integration of external services such as social networks, by third parties.

2.2 Statistical cookies (do not require consent):

Statistics cookies are cookies made available by third parties in aggregate form and without data crossing for the purpose of managing statistics. These cookies collect information on the use of the website and the pages visited and are not used to identify the user. You will find below the name of the third parties that manage them, and for each of them the link to the page where you can receive information on the treatment. The site uses the features of Google Analytics; for more information see the link:  http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/cookies/

The Site uses technical cookies, for each of which is indicated, in addition to the specific function and purpose, the period of validity of the cookies and the source, proprietary or third party.

2.3 Marketing and profiling cookies (require consent):

These are cookies used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when surfing the net. They can be provided by our servers or through our site by third parties. Companies that offer or advertise their products through this site could assign cookies to users' terminals. The categories of cookies used and the type of processing of personal data by these companies are regulated in accordance with the information provided by these companies. All cookies other than those indicated above are installed or activated only following the consent expressed by the user the first time they visit the Site. The consent can be expressed by interacting with the brief information banner present on the landing page of the Site, according to the methods indicated in this banner, or it can be provided selectively, according to the methods indicated below. The method described is also used for the management of consent relating to cookies managed through the defined Consent Management Platform (CMP). The choices on consent made by the user are tracked on subsequent visits. Periodically, the banner may be resubmitted through which you can change your choices. In any case, you can always revoke the consent already expressed in whole or in part.
